Today we want to start a new weekly section in our blog. Every week we will be sharing with you one picture in our Gallery we feel proud of, for either its beauty, the challenging conditions it was taken in or the compelling story behind it.
The winner this week is a photo we took in Nice, France, during our trip along the Côte d’Azur in December 2014.

While strolling along the Nice promenade on a mild winter Sunday morning we came across the remainings of the old pier just in front of the Casino Palais Méditerranée. We couldn’t help but start snapping away at it from different angles while local passerbyers stared at us wandering what was so special about it.
Without a doubt, the blue shades of the waters in this picture are a reminder of why Nice lays off the so called Côte d’Azur (directly translated in English as the azure coast).
We hope you like it!
